Cartography and relationship between research and life

This article intends to present some reflections on cartography, a research method, based on Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze's idea, which has been used in field researches in the context of subjectivity studies. Initially, some methods of research used in Psychology are presented based upon the modern paradigm, sustained by reason, objectivity and truth investigation. After that, we discussed the complexity and the Psychology's contemporary dilemma that demands the necessity of other methods, among them the cartography. We concluded that, in an attempt to deal with the complexity, the cartography, based on a squizoanalytical point of view, supports itself on the invention and on the researcher's involvement, connecting research and actual life.
