This article discuss some considerations by Freud and Lacan about the fantasy, pointing out its origin and function for the subject. For such reason, it analyzes the three times of fantasy postulated by Freud and the two logical operations, which constitute the articulator between the subject and the “object a”, present in the matheme of fantasy elaborated by Lacan, namely: the alienation and the separation.
