This paper presents the theoretical arguments of entropy as a reference to agro-ecosystems analisys, proposes a methodology to this analisys based on the study of the energy flux, and discusses the energetic values of physical factors of agricultural production. Is also shown the example of the model application to a corn production system adopted in the State of Santa Catarina,Brazil.
