THE LOCALIZATION STRATEGICAL DECISION AND THE TECHNOPOLES BORN: THE CASE SÃO JOSÉ DOS CAMPOS

ABSTRACT

This paper aims to identify the factors that had motivated the companies if to establish in São José dos Campos. The methodology used for the development of the study, considered the analysis of the speech of collective subject discussion from interviews with managers of situated companies in São José dos Campos. The result of the research proved that the choice of the localization of the companies approaches factors exogenous, centripetal forces and centrifugal machines that influence in the process of taking of decision for the localization and the influence in the regional development. The development of this research made possible the evidence of the positioning of Technopoles of São José dos Campos in the Geopolitical Project of Brazilian Modernity, in the scenes national and international as nucleus of attraction for localization of companies.
