Sociopractice organizational learning: an interpretative case study

This qualitative study aimed to discuss organizational learning in public service, trying to analyze its configuration from the elements that constitute social work practices. By adopting a social practice perspective for the analysis of organizational learning, it was decided to carry out a case study on Integrated Unit. The result analysis was based on the assumptions of the interpretative approach. The main results indicate that the social practice learning is still distant of management practices in the public service in the analyzed unit, mainly due to the prevalence of bureaucratization and centralization, as elements whose nature blocks the social practice flow in the management and organization of everyday activities in public service.
