Nutitional efficiency in micronutrients and sodium of three Australian provenances of black wattle (Acacia mearnsii De Wild.)

The present aimed to determine the nutritional efficiency of the micronutrient (Mn, B, Cu, Zn e Fe) and Na, in the different tree components of three provenances of black wattle (Acacia mearnsii), 2.4 years old, planted in the municipality of Butiá-RS (Brazil). The selected Australian provenances were Lake George, Bodalla and Batemans Bay. A large variation was found in the nutritional efficiency among the provenances. Lake George provenance accumulated the greatest total biomass and was the most efficient in utilizing nutrient to produce total tree biomass. However, the Bodalla provenance was more efficient in the use of nutrient to produce biomass of wood and bark.
