ABSTRACT
It analyzes a socio-educational process with children in a situation of social care, mediated by capoeira, with a focus on the development of the claimed enfranchisement. This is an action research, developed with 10 children welcomed by Casa Lar de Serra/ES. From July to December of 2021, occurred 46. The experiences in pedagogical mediations with capoeira built with the chindren, valued authorial practices and the co-participation of children, thus fostering a model of citizenship in which subjects assume the discourses and practices about themselves.
