Abstract
On 6 December 2023, Spain passed the Real Decreto-ley 6/2023, of 19 December, approving urgent measures for the implementation of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan for the public service of justice, the civil service, the local system and patronage. This regulation is the latest attempt by the Spanish legislator to digitalize the Administration of Justice. The aim of this contribution is to describe the most significant aspects of this reform, with a brief mentions to its repercussions on the criminal process, its principles and guarantees.
