Low quality of infrastructure and high tax burden on those sectors make more expensive their services. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impacts of the increase in the supply of infrastructure services, and taxes reduction on those services on the Brazilian economy. A General Equilibrium Model was used to run the simulations. Those polices would increase sectors competitiveness and economic growth. Also, exports and factors remuneration would increase, causing elevation in the families' income and investments. Government tax collection, GDP, and consumer utility would increase in the scenarios where infrastructure service expansion and tax reduction are simulated.
