Equations obtained from laws of conservation for design of underground drains

In this study an algebraic expression for the Dumm's model was obtained, which describes its solutions through a geometric algorithm. An algebraic expression was obtained to model the Dumm through which to describe their solutions through geometric algorithm. The techniques of identifying potential, hyperbolic, linear and exponential patterns were used, through representations in monolog and dilog aimed at defining strategies set by the technique of least squares. In this context, different models were analysed and identified that linear and potential type models adjust well to the ratio of the initial ground water table levels and days elapsed after t. Furthermore, the identification that the potential models adjust well to describe the process as well, it was possible to generate simplified models for the problem, using the Solver, Microsoft Office Excel. Inc., and for this reason, in this study, it is proposed to fit with empirical equations of potential type to represent it using the variables such as hydraulic conductivity, depth and time to determine the distance between drains, including the description of this distance under the same parameters as the model of Glover-Dumm. The solutions found present small differences but not significant compared to models Glover, Glover-Dumm and Dumm.
