This work was developed with the objective of evaluating the hydraulic characteristics of three models of the compensating mini-sprinkler, manufactured by Dan Sprinklers. Evaluated were the variation due to manufacturing process, water distribution uniformity, discharge-pressure relation (mini-sprinkler characteristic equation), aiming to provide suggestions for their adequate selection for trickle irrigation systems designs. Both models were classified as A category because of the low manufacturing variation coefficient obtained (< 5%), and the yellow model exhibited the best water distribution uniformity.
