The present reflection resulted from an investigation which produced theoretical considerations based on empirical data and previous theoretical elaborations which allow the author to propose the possibility of developing an authentic Pedagogy of Child Education, which she prefers to denominate the Pedagogy of Childhood. This takes as its principal concern the children themselves. It is a Pedagogy which would transcend that didactic knowledge resulting from a general pedagogic school action and from those teaching-learning processes which are not appropriate in the analysis of the non-school pedagogic spaces, so frequent in taking care of boys and girls in the 0 to 6 year age range.
