This article is based in part on a doctoral thesis on identity and young people in Internet chat sessions on music, with some further developments. Our objective is to raise some of the connections between Internet a theme that is vogue culture and the formation of cyberspace tribes, from the perspective of Cultural Studies, revealing a multitude of questions which this theme poses, mainly concerning youth cultures and identities.
