ABSTRACT
The article aims to visualize which was to identify are the discourses and practices that the teachers of the Faculty of Education of the Corporación Universitaria Iberoamericana have in order to correlate the discourses, practices and institutional policies with respect to the processes of research training and degree work management. To achieve the purpose, a study is proposed from the qualitative approach; hermeneutics as a way of reading and interpreting reality and the narrative autobiographical method to weave the life stories of the participants, where the population is teachers who have a load of the training processes in research and direction of degree work. It was evidenced that the discourses and research practices were establish as a fundamental axis at the time of generating educational processes that are strengthened through the guidelines as an articulating axis around the strategies of the teaching-research relationship for transformation social.
