Inclusion of children with special educational needs in early childhood education

This article discusses the importance of inclusion in preschool education institutions. All children have the right to education in regular classes, in schools open to the community, providing a quality educational environment that addresses each child's needs for education and therapy. When following a philosophy of inclusive preschool education, all those involved in the educational process-children, educators, therapists and school- board-must work collaboratively to address the task of teaching and learning, providing meaningful experiences to all children. This article highlights several vital factors for full inclusion of children with Special Educational Needs in preschool education.
