Abstract
We use the Method of Recurrence Relations (MRR) to study the behavior of a single electron in the presence of a uniform magnetic field along the z-direction. We find that the time-dependent autocorrelation functions in the x- and y-directions, Cx(t) and Cy(t), respectively, oscillate periodically in time, while in the z-direction the temporal autocorrelation function Cz(t) has a constant value, corroborating the expected result that the spin precesses about the direction of the applied magnetic field.
