Einstein's theory of relativity presented to Amazonia

We report the introduction of Einstein's theory of relativity in the Brazilian Amazonia, that happened during the passage by the city of Belém, in the state of Pará, of the British scientists Andrew C. D. Crommelin and Charles R. Davidson, prior and after the measurements performed by them in the city of Sobral, in the state of Ceará, during the total solar eclipse of May 29, 1919.
