SimQuest - computational modeling tool for teaching physics

In this paper, we present the computational modelling tool called SimQuest discussing some of the possibilities of its use as an auxiliary tool in the teaching of physics. As a main feature, the SimQuest allows the construction of learning objects with various graphics and a friendly interface. Another interesting feature is the possibility of changing the parameters of the problem analyzed in real time. These basic elements make real the possibility of using SimQuest as an important tool in the teaching of physics. To illustrate the potential of SimQuest, we present the learning objects of two complex problems in physics education, the double pendulum and the Lorenz attractor.
