Concept maps as instructional aid to promote meaningful learning of optical physics concepts

This paper presents the results of an inquiry that approached the difficulties of physics majors in the learning of optical physics concepts, involving misconceptions and the use of concept maps as didactic instrument to facilitate the meaningful learning of these concepts.
