This paper present a comparative between the Aristotle's and Ptolemy's cosmology, whose planetary models are shown in detail, and the Duhem's instrumentalism conception about Ptolemy to establish the existence or not of the epistemological conflict between realism and instrumentalism in greek astronomy.
