The discussion about the inclusion of modern physics in high school has been emphasizing in recent years. The National Curriculum Parameters (PCN's) highlight the requirement of this knowledge from the students of basic education. Thus, the present study conducts an analysis of the Physics textbooks provided by the National Textbook Program Education (PNLEM). The main purpose of this research is to locate the authors' opinion of these works about the insertion of Modern Physics in high school. With such purpose, we analyze the presence of this in the textbook, as well as information from the teacher's guide and PNLEM catalog.
