In this work, considering a simplified model we estimate the magnetic moment associated to two neodymium magnets with different geometries. We investigated how the effect of temperature modifies magnetic properties, such as the intensity of the magnetic field evaluated at the extreme of these magnets, based on these results we present a fictitious anomaly as an didactic purpose inspired by the discussion built throughout the work, which allows illustrating a current problem in the scenario of high energy physics, known as the muon (g-2) anomaly.
