Summary
Medical education has remained stagnant for decades, when it should be the starting point for continuous changes. During recent years, medical schools worldwide have faced an increasing demand for curricular and pedagogical reforms, this giving rise to different educational strategies. This paper describes the main current didactic-pedagogical strategies, focusing on their advantages and disadvantages, with the objective of identifying elements for a critical analysis.
