INTEGRAÇÃO INTERDISCIPLINAR NO ENSINO PRÉ-CLÍNICO DO APARELHO DIGESTIVO: DESCRIÇÃO E AVALIAÇÃO

Summary:

This work presents an evaluative study of a pre-clinical course on the digesitve systems that features an interdisciplinary approach. The purposes of the evaluation where monitoring of the course and the assessment of planned changes in educational style. Using a time series design data were obtained by mean of a broad questionnaire on succsessive groups of students. The results suggest a greater impact of the interdisciplinary integration, better adaptation of the students and an increased value and meaning-fulness of their learning. These effects can be ascribed mostly to the association of problem-based learning modules with small group work. This study contributes information on the potential value of these techniques in selective innovation of pre­ clinical teaching.
