Abstract:
The author reviews the principal contributions of Psychosomatic Medicine to the undergradaute training of medical studenls. He highlights the concepts involved in human relations in the medical context, with a focus on the physician-patient relationship. He emphasizes the importance of studying the phenomena involved in student-professor and student-patient relations as a means of preventing iatrogenic events, citing ways by which the issue can be approached in medical education, in light of psychosomatic concepts.
