Abstract:
The training process of future physicians is marked by daily contact with death, suffering, and poerlessness. This study describes the transdisciplinary strategy employed in proving psychological support to students at the Federal University in São Paulo (Escola Paulista de Medicina). The article describes the recceptin week for new students, interviews with first-year students, the course in Medical Psychology, Student Health Services, and the Students Affairs Board.
