Three new species of Prodecatoma reared from galls in fruits of Psidium cattleianum Sabine and P. cinereum Mart. ex DC. (Myrtaceae) are described from southern Brazil. Two of the new species, Prodecatoma carpophaga sp. nov. and Prodecatoma petrodoma sp. nov. are described as gall-makers. Prodecatoma ferruginea sp. nov. and Prodecatoma spermophaga Costa-Lima are pointed as inquilines in the fruit galls or parasitoids. Comments about macroscopic gall morphology and biology of the wasps are also included.
