ABSTRACT
This review presents different views on the book At Work with Grotowki on Physical Actions, by Thomas Richards. After mentioning the central themes addressed by Richards and Grotowski, which are of particular interest to students and professionals who do theatre, the text also addresses some of the issues related to the language of the author and to the entire process of translation review and proofreading, carried out at first with the author and then with the publisher. These reflections, which bring up a few concrete examples of that process, may interest, more objectively, scholars and researchers who wish to know in depth Richards's and Grotowski's writings.
