Passiflora cincinnata Mast. is a wild and non-marketable species, whose common name is "maracujá-do-mato". It can be used as ornamental or medicinal plant, besides being an edible fruit and with a huge grafting stock potential. The experiment aimed to evaluate the effect of plant growth regulators GA4+7 + N-(phenylmethyl)-aminopurine on seed germination, emergence and development of seedlings. It was conducted at the Department of Botany, Unesp, Botucatu, with seeds supplied by Embrapa Semi-Árido obtained from plants cultivated at the Caatinga Experimental Field, Petrolina (PE), Brazil. One year after storage, two experiments were carried out: the first, in a laboratory, for germination study, and the second in a greenhouse, for emergence and development of seedlings study. The experimental designs were completely randomized for both experiments, each one with 11 treatments of different concentrations of GA4+7 + N-(phenylmethyl)-aminopurine (zero, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1000 mg L-1) and 5 repetitions each. Results were submitted to variance and regression tests. It was concluded that plant growth regulators GA4+7 + N-(phenylmethyl)-aminopurine enhanced the germination process as well as the emergence and development seedlings of P. cincinnata Mast..
