Knowledge of associations between traits of interest in Barbados Cherry (Malpighia emarginata D.C.) is very important in obtaining breed improved cultivars. The present research aimed to study the phenotypic, genotypic, and environmental correlations between quantitative traits of the Barbados Cherry. Eleven genotypes were assessed in a randomized design with three replications. Positive and significance phenotypic and genotypic correlations were observed for the trait pairs: fruit mass and heigth, pulp mass and pulp yield, fruit heigh and pulp mass, seed with normal embryo and pulp yield. These values indicate that could be used the easiest trait for selection or the highest heritability trait from each pair.
