This paper deals with the chemical caracterization of Aegiphila sellowiana Cham. (Verbanaceae). Aerial parts from this plant were extracted with organic solvents and submitted to chromatographic separation. The resulting fractions were analysed by spectrometric methods identifying saturated hydrocarbons, stigmasterol, α-myrin and verbascoside.
