As from the discourse analysis of the lay and religious press of Pernambuco, during the Estado Novo (New State), and the contents of the private mail of the intervenient Agamenom Magalhães it was possible to identify an administration which overwhellmed the role of education and of the pedagogue as vehicles for the construction of order and disorder in society. The maintainance of an insecurity atmosphere, terror and violence assured the implantation of a fact situation: exonerations, forced retirements were transformed into punishment instruments and combat weapons against those who were pointed at as representatives of the disorder pedagogy.
