ABSTRACT
This article aims to analyse the arrival of various imported goods (especially Asian ones such as silk, porcelain, musk, etc.) to the Jesuit missions of Paraguay between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. To do so, we will analyse the exchange routes that these products followed until they reached the missions. Finally, we will discuss the socio-cultural changes that were brought about in the native Guaraní populations as a result of the adoption of this type of products in their missions.
