This dissertation is about the making of the curriculum proposal of the History for the state of São Paulo, between the years of 1986 and 1992, and the relation that the Coordenadoria de Estudos e Normas Pedagógicas (CENP) established with the process of developing this proposal, that had been involved in many conflicts and controversies, some of them, results of the academic and political discussions shown to the public by the press.
