Knowing the extraordinary advances obtained in the treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma, several challenges persist related to the biology of the disease and to the determination of alternatives that maximize the therapeutic efficacy and minimize immediate and long-term toxicity. The aim of this article is to present recent information that has immediate relevance for those who care for patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
