The VII meeting of the Italian-Brazilian Hematology Association (AIBE) comes back to Italy once again. The meeting will be held in Venice on June 1-3, 2008 with the aim of sharing the hematological experience between two different scientific worlds, the Latin-American and the European one.
In fact, this year the meeting will assume a particular format with the participation of the representatives from different Latin-American countries to widen the view and share mutual experiences. The final purpose of the meeting is to find out programs and projects that can be shared by the different hematological realities to progress together, to realize a true spirit of cooperation in the field of hematological diseases and to compare the different approaches. In a near future the AIBE intends to institute fellowships with the purpose of stimulating a personnel exchange, namely nurses, of the haematology units of the two countries.
These will be the basis for common and best strategies for our countries. These purposes were the principal reason to join together six years ago when the Italian-Brazilian Association was founded and it stills the most important aim of the association. We therefore hope that this cooperation will become more and more widespread and deep, due to the friendship between all participants, both old and new ones. We hope that the pleasant and relaxing site that will host all of us will contribute to achieve the aims of the meeting.
Thank you in advance for joining us and...welcome in Venice!
