This article presents a small extract from a master's dissertation, which investigated the situation of EFL teacher education in the state of Espirito Santo (ES) in Brazil. From a survey in four institutions in ES that offer an undergraduate program in Languages/English, we tabulated and categorized response data, leading us to an overview of the respondents' evaluation of English teacher education in ES. The results allowed us to know the profile of those who answered the survey questionnaires - institution administrators, professors and students - as well as their evaluation of the facilities of each institution and the quality of the undergraduate program they offer. Although not negative, English teacher education courses in ES are still far from what is desired by their students, professors and administrators.
