The objective of this study was to assess the influence of different temperatures (20ºC, 25ºC, 30ºC and 35ºC), substrates (roll of paper, paper-towel, sand and vermiculite), conditions of light (absence and presence) and humidity (substrates little humid, humid, very humid and drenched) on the germination of seeds of Blepharocalyx salicifolius. The best results were obtained with the substrate paper towel, vermiculite and sand, in temperatures 20ºC and 25ºC, and with the substrate roll of paper in the temperature 30ºC. The seeds germinate well in both the presence and the absence of light, as well as substrate humid, very humid and drenched in temperatures 20ºC and 25ºC.
