Arterial hypertension and ethics in research with humans: implications in the health area

High blood pressure in the World has been the subject of extensive reporting. In Brazil this metabolic disorder has been considered one of the most important risk factors for children, adults and the elderly. The demand on healthcare services results from the needs and behavior of individuals in relation to their health, as well as access to the public health system. Clinical research on arterial hypertension requires the compliance to ethical principles inherent to human beings.
