Natural feeding of Etropus crossotus Jordan & Gilbert, 1882 in the Armação do Itapocoroy, Santa Catarina, Brazil

The feeding of E. crossotus was analyzed during the period from January to December 1995 using the frequency of occurrence, frequency of points and feeding index methods. The species presents a broad trophic specter and diversified, composed by 32 itens. The trophic analyses indicated the species show that the categories Crustacea, Polychaeta and Osteichthyes were the most exploited resources.
