Regional development in midle Rio Doce/MG: analysis of the legal possibility of sustainable management of aroeira

Seeing that monodominance of forest specie aroeira (Myracrodruon Urundeuva Fr. All.) is shown as a major obstacle environment in the middle Rio Doce, MG, and that its exploration is impossible by the inclusion of aroeira in the list of endangered species, this paper analyzes the legal viability of sustainable management of aroeira aiming at regional development in middle Rio Doce, MG. For this, (1) sees the territorial approach of development as appropriate to the establishment of regional development opportunities, along with an exploration of the species that is sustainable; (2) lists the normative acts in conflict over regulation of the conservation / exploitation of aroeira and identifies a viable solution to this conflict; (3) concludes by developing a sustainable management plan, prepared in the form of ordinance by competent state agency and produced in dialogue with the affected individuals, as possible indicative to the solution of environmental barriers and the development of the region.
