EDITORIAL

A new cycle

I would like to start the first editorial of this year with acknowledgments. First to the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Society for the Study of Pain for indicating me as editor and Dr. Sílvia Regina Dowgan Tesseroli de Siqueira as co-editor. Then, to our members who have voted and given us the mission of managing this journal.

We could also not forget to publicly mention the meritorious and remarkable work of Dr. Irimar de Paula Posso and his team, who have given our journal a new face and were able to achieve highly important indexations such as LILACS and Scielo.

Now, after such achievements, it is up to us to further advance and to make Revista Dor an unquestionable reference for pain-related publications in Brazil, to definitely attract authors of the area, to increase its scientific impact and to reach better WebQualis indicators in the next triennial evaluation.

This is a hard task, but I count on Brazilian researchers, on the studies of our members, on the support of our Editorial Coordination and on the ongoing enthusiasm instilled by SBED as tools to move up to higher levels.

Join us!
