Henri Lefebvre: the “direct to the city” as a utopian horizon

Abstract

In the work of Henri Lefebvre, the construction of the concept of “the right to the city” is located in practice as part of the movement of the real, at the same time that it gains meaning as a possibility and utopian project. It brings as a theoretical requirement the understanding of the role of production of space as a determinant of the urban problem that is announced in the second half of the 20th century.
