Abstract
The hegemonic culture of our current globalized society is based on dichotomies and among them a nuclear one that allows the existence of punishment and its use as the main method of social control is: the division between good and evil. However, in the complexity of this modernity the dichotomies are many and intertwined. This article explores the existence of a global prison that presents multiple faces and serves as a diagnosis and at the same time as a prognosis of the varied confinements of the 21st century, and hopefully as a tool for understanding and abolish them in the future, in the current surveillance capitalism.
