Abstract
This article aims to construct some theoretical notes about the relationship between rights and social movements based on the case of the Movement of the Affected by Dams (MAB) in Brazil, in order to understand how the social processes of struggle of this movement interconnect the question of social classes with the peasant identities and their struggles for human rights, especially in their dynamics forged before the enterprise and the State.
