Abstract
On March 1st, 2018, a group of trans activists published a video on their social networks sites simulating the burning of psychological and psychiatric reports. The video was a celebration of the decision of the brazilian Federal Supreme Court in the judgment of Direct Action of Unconstitutionality 4275. Interestingly, the decision was very different from the initial request for the action, made in 2009. I seek in this text to identify the conditions of possibility of the decision handed down in judgment, to that end I retrace the scientific and legal changes without which the decision would not have been taken the way it was. It is an empirical interpretative research based on the aforementioned legal process and complementary sources.
