Abstract
This article aims to debate the proposal made by Roberto Mangabeira Unger for the reform of the government system in Brazil. Unger's proposal for a transformative political action in Brazil, and the context in which he proposes the reform of presidentialism, is generally described. Based on a dialogue with sources of brazilian political thought, Unger’s proposal is discussed, raising some controversies. It is an effort to discuss systems of government within the framework of the proposal for democratic experimentalism - an Unger versus Unger exercise.
