Abstract:
I intend to corroborate the importance and topicality of Antonio Candido’s critical text named Dialectic of the trickery. I start to place it historically between a profusion of works that contemplate the trickery, looking at the Marxist-based metodology proposed by Candido to analyze the novel Memoirs of a Police Sergeant, as a possible way for a critical listening ot the samba genre.
