Black Movement and the quilombola agenda in the Constituent Assembly: action, strategy and repertoire

Abstract

It is a study that aims to identify a contribution of the black movement in the process of construction of the quilombola right in Brazil, with emphasis on the (pre) constituent period. Therefore, it is studied as a structure of the black movement, identifying its repertoire, strategies and actions in the pre-constituent. It was noticed that the intense role of the Unified Black Movement (MNU) was responsible for insertion of ethnic-quilombola rights without consolidated constitutional text in 1988.
