2018: 50 years between Continuities and the Intensification of State Violence

Abstract

The state violence in Brazil is a phenomenon conditioned by the continuities of the dictatorial period. The federal-military intervention in Rio de Janeiro and the space opened to the military in the Michel Temer's illegitimate government point to a scenario of recrudescence in the field of human rights and call attention to the political perspectives for the post 2018.
